MACHINE TESTING 

Regular testing of equipment ensures the accuracy of your machine and helps to avoid wasteful or environmentally damaging under or over application of product. Regular testing also ensures the safety of your operators and those around them. We can offer testing on all full range of machines covering all makes. As well as being best practice regular testing is also a requirement of many farm assurance schemes.

NSTS Fertiliser Spreader Testing

           

Most farm assurance schemes require annual testing of fertiliser spreaders Inspection of the spreader including condition of discs and vanes. Tray testing to confirm evenness of spread across the working width of the machine. Adjustments made if required to achieve the best Coefficient of variation (CV) for each product

NSTS Slug Pellet Applicator Testing

          

Sustainable Use Directive (SUD) Requirements.
A. Tested by 26/11/16 OR first test due before the machine is 5 years old
B. Re-test every 6 years
Farm assurance schemes may require more frequent testing
Inspection of the spreader including condition of discs and vanes. Tray testing with non-toxic product to confirm evenness of spread across the working width of the machine. Adjustments made if required to achieve the best Coefficient of variation (CV) for each product £225

Tilly Trailer Testing

          

Tilly Pass sticker issued for 12 months. 18 Point trailer inspection, including brakes, hydraulics, suspension, drawbar, axles and lighting. Carried out by a Tilly Pass authorised technician. £170 Tandem

Trailer Brake Testing

          

We recommend annual testing The test involves loading the trailer to it’s gross weight, road testing the tractor and trailer combination with a variation of stops to check the braking efficiency. Print out of test results will be provided £150

LIFTING EQUIPMENT

Thorough Examination Lift Equipment Testing (Incorporating LOLER & PUWER) is required under health and safety law. LOLER 1998, covers lifting equipment, and PUWER 1998, deals with all other safety-related items, such as brakes, steering and tyres. Our combined LOLER & PUWER testing ensures that your loader boom and the machines it’s mounted to are thoroughly inspected.
