It's NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK so we asked one of our apprentices, Anna Heath at TAG Narberth, about the JOHN DEERE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME.
What is the qualification you are working towards?
The qualification that I am working towards is a Level 3 Land Based Service Engineering as a Technician.
What attracted you to this apprenticeship?
The programme layout, it allows me to be learning on the job rather than constantly through theory.
What do you enjoy the most on this apprenticeship?
I enjoy the in-depth training received from the training centre, which allows me to take the information from the training centre into my workplace.
My understanding of the theory can be applied practically in the workshop, learning to diagnose the problem using both my theory and practical knowledge.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
I would like to be expanding my knowledge of robotic mowers, as well as continuing to work with Gators, Lawn Mowers, and other Turf Machinery.
